A teenage mother hanged herself just 41 days after the birth of her second child following an argument with her ‘controlling’ boyfriend, an inquest heard.
Rhianne Halton, 19, from Torquay, Devon, had a ‘difficult’ relationship with her partner who was the father of her three-year-old son and newborn boy, the coroner was told in a statement from her grandparents.
During lockdown in May last year, Rhianne was not able to have face-to-face meetings with midwives and health visitors after she gave birth, the Plymouth inquest heard.
A review concluded they would not have been able to prevent her death.
